Operating on the 40m band in SSB mode. After a sunny day, we were able to operate with a little more power (50W) and reduce our QRT time in the early morning. 40m is one of the bands with the fewest QSOs, so we faced a very strong pileup where all the stations were coming in very loud. Unfortunately, some stations were calling without hearing us. I don't rule out that QSB will present us with these kinds of situations. It has happened to us many times during the expedition. After enjoying such wonderful reception and comparing it to the reception we have in the city (ff46qj in my case), it makes you want to move to an island (hahaha).
Thank you very much for all your calls; we will continue trying to reach as many radio amateurs as possible.
